Investing in the Future: Sponsoring Education Beyond Primary School

Recently, Charles shared with me the story of Esther, one of Kitamaduni’s primary school graduates and a teen mother with a strong determination to continue her education. Despite the challenges she has faced, Esther expressed a deep desire to pursue middle school and work toward a brighter future—not just for herself, but for her child.

Unfortunately, Kitamaduni only offers education through the primary level, and middle school tuition is costly—especially for children from underprivileged backgrounds. Moved by Esther’s courage and commitment, I felt called to step in. I personally sponsored her enrollment, and I’m overjoyed to share that Esther is now in her second quarter of middle school. Her confidence is growing, and her smile says it all—she finally sees a future filled with hope.

But Esther is just one of many. Several other students are waiting for a sponsor—waiting for someone to believe in them and open the door to education beyond primary school.
