A Message from Anita Azariah
Founder, Yireh Pour Trust Foundation
My life’s journey has been deeply rooted in a calling to serve others, especially the vulnerable and forgotten. Growing up in Pakistan, I witnessed the heartbreaking realities faced by many Christian families—particularly young girls forced into domestic labor in Muslim households. These girls were often abused, exploited, and given no opportunity to rise above their circumstances.
Burdened by their suffering and guided by a sense of responsibility, I opened a sewing school for Christian girls in my community. With the support of CARITAS, a Catholic organization, we trained and graduated 65 girls, equipping them with the skills and tools to build independent, home-based businesses. Sewing machines were provided upon graduation, giving them more than just a trade—they received the chance to reclaim their dignity and future.
In 1994, I immigrated to the United States, but my passion for helping others never left me. I continued to support the orphanage my father had founded back in Pakistan and contributed to various community efforts. Each act of service deepened my commitment to stand with the poor, the displaced, and the hopeless.
In November 2023, I came across an organization in Uganda called Kitamaduni, led by a devoted young man, Charles Bikorwomuhangi. Kitamaduni had been striving to provide education, food, and shelter to young children and teenage mothers—many of whom had been abandoned by their families or victims of abuse. However, the conditions were dire:
The school building was severely damaged, barely functioning as both a classroom by day and a shelter by night.
There was no access to clean drinking water—only muddy water from a contaminated source.
The teen mothers slept on the floor with their babies in a structure unfit for living.
I knew I had to act. I used my personal funds and reached out to friends and family to raise support. Through God’s grace and their generosity, we were able to:
Renovate two key buildings to serve as safe, functional spaces for learning and shelter.
Purchase a shelter home for the teen mothers, which we named the Naseem Azariah Shelter Home, in honor of my beloved mother.
Install a water filtration system, providing clean and safe drinking water to the entire community.
Begin furnishing the classrooms to create a nurturing, respectful environment for education.
This experience was life-changing. In the midst of these efforts, I felt a divine prompting that this work was not just a one-time mission, but a lifelong calling. That calling gave birth to the Yireh Pour Trust Foundation.
With heartfelt thanks,
Anita Azariah

Yireh Pour Trust Foundation
"Pouring God’s blessings into the lives that need it most."
Why “Yireh Pour”?
“Yireh” comes from Jehovah Jireh, meaning “The Lord Will Provide.”
“Pour” symbolizes overflowing hands—a vision of sharing blessings generously with others.
The Yireh Pour Trust Foundation exists to be a bridge between those who have and those who need—to pour out God's provision to the brokenhearted, the outcast, and the overlooked.
Our current focus remains in Uganda, next will be Pakistan, but the vision is global. We aim to support:
Teen mothers and children through shelter, education, and healthcare
Christian families in Pakistan, who are often denied government aid and live in generational poverty
New community development projects that offer sustainable transformation through faith, love, and practical support
